How to Replace a Flat Tire

A flat tire is one of the most annoying things to happen while driving. It slows you down and can ruin your day. There are worse things that can happen, but a flat tire is easier to replace than other car parts that break down.

First, find somewhere to park where you won't put yourself in harm's way. Then, turn off the engine and apply the parking brake. Get the jack and tire changing tools out of the trunk, loosen the lug nuts, and lift the car with the jack. Then, when the car is elevated, remove the lug nuts and the flat and replace it with the spare. Finally, put the lug nuts back into place and lower the car.

If you need your tires serviced professionally, then take your car to Don Jackson Mitsubishi as soon as possible so one of our service technicians can work on it.
